Jamie’s career began in automotive technology, where he developed a strong foundation in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and systems thinking. More than 32 years ago, he made the transition into automation engineering—a move that would shape the rest of his professional career and establish him as a trusted resource for complex automation challenges.

His background as an automotive technician provided a unique advantage as he entered the world of industrial automation. The ability to diagnose problems systematically, understand mechanical and electrical interactions, and think critically under pressure became the cornerstone of his success in increasingly sophisticated production environments.
